Hello, everyone! I originally created this account to add more information about Glitter Force to the Pretty Cure Wiki. Then, I found that there was a Glitter Force Wiki, too, and I decided to help out here. Even though Glitter Force has its share of flaws, I find it to be a fun addition to the franchise. All the changes it makes adds a whole new layer to the already huge multiverse of Pretty Cure. I love how much information this wiki has about such a big franchise, and I hope to help it grow!


Sub/Dub Comparisons

Although I spend some of my time editing the wiki itself, my primary purpose in creating this account is to upload comparisons between foreign shows and their English dubs. Here is a list of all of them:

Impulsive, tomboyish Nagisa Misumi is the star player in her school's lacrosse team. Reserved, feminine Honoka Yukishiro is an extremely smart member of the science club known as the "Queen of Knowledge". The two are both very popular at their school, Verone Academy, but they're barely aware of each other's existence. That is, until they come across Mepple and Mipple, strange creatures from a world called the Garden of Light. Their kindgom is being threatened by the evil denizens of the Dotsuku Zone. Together, Nagisa and Honoka must become the Emissaries of Light, Pretty Cure, and save both their worlds from evil!


Futari wa Pretty Cure (lit. The Two of Us Are Pretty Cure), the original Japanese version, was created by Toei Animation and aired on TV Asahi between 2004 and 2005. It is the first installment in the successful and long-running Pretty Cure franchise.


Pretty Cure, the English dub, was created by Ocean Productions and aired in Canada on YTV between 2009 and 2010. It is the only Pretty Cure installment that Ocean Productions dubbed.

Smile Pretty Cure! / Glitter Force Complete
Happy-go-lucky, fairytale-loving Miyuki Hoshizora gets her whole world turned upside down upon meeting a fairy named Candy. Candy's world, the peaceful, fairytale kingdom of Märchenland, has been taken over by the evil Bad End Kingdom. It's up to Miyuki and her four friends - passionate Akane, shy Yayoi, motherly Nao, and elegant Reika - to transform into the legendary warriors, Pretty Cure, and fight for the future of Candy's world.


Smile Pretty Cure!, the original Japanese version, was created by Toei Animation and aired on TV Asahi between 2012 and 2013. It is the 9th installment in the long-running Pretty Cure franchise.


Glitter Force, the English dub, was created by Saban Brands and published on Netflix between 2015 and 2016. It is the first installment in the Glitter Force series.

Doki Doki! Pretty Cure / Glitter Force Doki Doki Complete
Cure Sword fought tooth and nail to protect her world, the Trump Kingdom, but it was taken over and destroyed by the evil Jikochuu. Now, her only hope is to go to Earth and find new Pretty Cures to fight by her side. Fortunately, she comes across selfless Mana, levelheaded Rikka, and rich Arisu, as well as a mysterious fifth warrior. Will the new Pretty Cure be powerful enough to save both Earth and the Trump Kingdom from King Jikochuu himself?


Doki Doki! Pretty Cure (lit. Heart-Pounding! Pretty Cure), the original Japanese version, was created by Toei Animation and aired on TV Asahi between 2013 and 2014. It is the 10th installment in the Pretty Cure franchise.


Glitter Force Doki Doki, the English dub, was created by Saban Brands and published on Netflix in 2017. It is the second and latest installment in the Glitter Force series.

Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger (lit. Dino Squadron Beastranger), the original Japanese version, was created by Toei and Bandai and aired on TV Asahi between 1992 and 1993. It is the 16th installment in the hit Super Sentai franchise.


Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the English adaptation, was created by Saban and aired on Fox Kids between 1993 and 1996. It is the first installment in the pop-cultural phenomenon that is the Power Rangers franchise. Season 1 aired between 1993 and 1994. It has its own characters, but uses footage from Zyuranger throughout.
